The 2008 election...Are You Ready?

As the elction creeps upon us we all have many things to think about.
Who is going to help our country for the better? Who can save or economy as it falls further into debt? Who can run this country for the better? With many other questions going through all young adults minds. Many young adults may say "I don't like either canidate, why do I need to choose one" With Political races being so close in the past our vote matters! We may not agree with all of any of the canidates beliefs, but we HAVE to choose the lesser of two evils. This election is said to be the closest election ever. Which makes it so important that everyone votes, old, or young eveyone's vote matters. Help show the Adults or our nation that we to young Americans care about what is going to happen. We our the future of this nation, and the next President of the United States is going to help shape our country for us. What happens in the next four year will affect the future, our future. If you care about the outcome of this nation then I believe you will show it by voting for the next president of the United States, don't leave it up to everyone else. Be a true American and VOTE!

I believe that apathy is destroying our generation. People don't believe that their vote matters. However, this is anything but true. In this election, even more so than previous ones, due to how close the two candidates still are, each vote counts greatly! Instead of sitting back while the election takes place, seeing who wins, possibly expressing some joy or dismay, and then for the next 4 years being disgusted with the President, become a part of the political process! If you aren't going to vote, please don't complain so loudly about the current political situation. One of our greatest civic responsibility as Americans is to vote and elect the people we want to lead the country. If you choose to ignore or deny yourself of this right, please don't be one of the complainers for the next 4 years, regardless of which candidate is chosen for President.
