Abortion: Does it matter?

The issue of abortion is confusing for some. Today, many people think as abortion in distorded views; for example, some say that women have a right to "choose" to have her baby killed. The truth is that abortion is one of the most horrible crime allowed throughout history. Abortion does matter especially since so many people today are told lies that lead them to continue to promote the worst injustice in human history. The fact is that life starts at conception; this is a scientific statement not a religious one. When someone has an abortion, a doctor kills a human life. The only difference between an unborn human and a born human is amount of cells that each one has. An unborn human still feels pain and this statement has been proven countless of times in science. Abortion is not just an issue but it is a moral obligation that everyone must face regardless of background. One of the saddest events is reading the history of slaves and seeing how a people were denied human rights because of there color and yet unborn humans are denied their human rights just because they can not speak up. Abortion in this country needs to be faced, moreover, people need to be taught the truth. People, especially politicans, can no longer continue allowing the killings of millions of lives because if they do the consequences will get worst.

so in your position, is abortion bad in all cases. If a women is raped shoudl she be allowed to abort the pregnancy?

Have you ever considered how awful it would be to KNOW you were not wanted?

Yes, life does start at conception. The embryo that forms can grow and metabolize and all that fun stuff. But, that life does not have a beating heart, a functioning nervous system, or any organs to assist in that metabolism... it is equivalent to the cells in any other part of the mother.

The differences between an unborn human at 1 week and a born human at 36 weeks gestation are numerous and remarkable. For one, the born human actually has all the organs required for survival; the unborn human at 1 week gestation is a grouping of undifferentiated cells... basically equivalent to, say, bone marrow.

An unborn human at around 24-26 weeks (that would be the start of the third trimester, by the way), I believe, can feel pain, yes. But before that... the data is lacking. The brain isn't developed enough before that to process the sensation of pain. In some cases, the brain isn't developed at all. Many early term abortions are not any worse than miscarriages... they happen before it has a chance to develop enough for anything.

Most pro-choicers would argue that there is a world of difference between an unborn child at 36 weeks and an unborn child at 4 weeks gestation. I highly encourage you to look up the difference between the two.
