First, I must give the government some credit. They worked quickly to get something passed to help the US avoid an economic crises. However, other than boosting morale a little, how much is the bailout really going to help? Who's going to get the money? The companies that scammed thousands of people or the people who got scammed? Are the company CEOs who have millions and billions of dollars just going to get more money? Why can't all the rich people who run the companies put in some of their own money to save their company? $700 billion is not going to fix America's economic problem. However, better morales will. Companies should be honest when giving loans and valuing houses and doing business. We, as the people, should never have to worry about if we are being misled. However, in todays society, we have to be careful of all the companies trying to scam us out of our money. But, it is not entirely the companies fault. The people who were scammed need to be more conscious of how much money they have and what they can afford instead of being greedy and selfish and wanting more than they can afford. It's a shame that it has come to this, but the people and the companies had it coming. It was only a matter of time and it is not the governments job to bail out these people and companies who made bad decisions.
Bailing Out Rich People Doesn't Make Much Sense
