When a social network is is not sociable? I am sure most people have a MySpace page or some other type of social network web site that they go to. I you don’t why not? Is it not all the rage, the new in thing?
Do you remember when Face book was just for professionals and students? When did this trend get out of control? There are some sites that I go to that are so jumbled with bells and whistles that it is imposable to make anything out. Then there is one site that to on talks to anyone. They just comment back and forth using premade items. These same people don’t event to write a nice comment about your photo. They are only in it for the lunch money.
When did we stop becoming friends and start owning them? Do you really need to know how much I am worth, (one site has me at $13,957 and another has me at $99,999, I looked them up.)
Wikipedia has a listing with over one hundred different sites that cover anything you can imagine.

When did we stop going out and meeting real people the old fashion way?
Do not get me started on the MySpace suicide. That mother should be strung up and rot in Hell for what she pulled.

i understand your frustrations. I despise myspace and those other sites. I used to have a site on there, but I deleted it because it caused alot of drama. I believe the only good social networking site is this one.
My dad is on that site where you bid on the pictures. I think it is really stupid. He also has a girlfriend who he meet online. She lives in PA. I guess we are getting lazier as technology advances. I believe we are, it is only a matter of time before this world will be full of ignorant nonsense everywhere.
Sorry to disappoint you, but I am voting for Lewis Black.

There are some good things that social network sites are good for. Here are some examples. If you are an author or musician social sites are a good way to let people know when new things are out. Or if there is an AMBER alert then many people can see the child that is missing and hopefully lead to finding the person.
Those are good as well. Also if you do art work like I do, or photography it is a good way to get yourself out there. Freelance writing also. I was mainly talking about the ignorant sites, like you were. Myspace, single.net, facebook, stuff like that.
