Darkness is Overwhelming

Darkness is overwhelming. It is a force lacking humanity. Death lingers in its depths waiting to pounce on unsuspecting victims lost in their own despair. Light is far and few between in this abyss, and there are no ropes to climb out with. It takes a mighty will to claw one’s way back to escape the gloom. Such a strength is sometimes lost on the weak hearted who are so clouded by the mists of such peaceful endings. It is sometimes better to stay lost than to return to the world of bittersweet reality and dark confusion; where the light’s bright shine sometimes hurts the heart. It is sometimes easier to stay slumbering in the darkness alone, but finally at peace.
I think people are to afraid on the dark whether it be the lonely night, the sleeping conscious, or death. It's just an end. An end to light, and end to a day, or the end to life. People need to relax. Life is going to go on. Life is going to eventually kill you. Be at peace with the knowledge that it's going to happen no matter who you are or what you've done. Fight as long as you can for your hopes and dreams. We get to caught up in the destination that we forget the journey. Watch the scenery as you go by.
