Stuck in the middle

My parents are middle class and I see that it is not easy for them. I'm in college and my sibling is in a bilangual private school which is costing my parents a fortune. I am sure that what I am saying here is not uncommon. For the middle class we choose our college based on the amount of financial aid that we'll be offered. There is college A and B. I really don't see myself spending four years in college A, I would rather do so in college B because its bigger and better. My parents tell me that they can't do anything at this point, that it is all in God's hand; I will have to go to the college that offers me the greater sum of financial aid. When I think about this, I say that it is not fair. There needs to be a change in the distribution of wealth. I got lucky I was blessed to able to go to college B because they offered me more financial aid. What I am saying is that some students are not lucky and have to go to a college that they do not like but have no choice. No one wants to get stuck with a great sum of money to pay off coming right out of college.

The problem today is that college is so expensive not even the middle class can afford it. I am a college freshman now, and my family is middle class. I remember last year, filling out the FAFSA, but my parents made too much to get anything from it. I was really hard trying to decide which school I wanted to go to. There was a $40,000 dollar school, and there was a $20,000 school. I really wanted to go to the more expensive one but we just couldn't afford it. Luckily, if thats what you want to call it, I didn't get into the $40,000 school so my decision was made for me, but I really don't know what I would have done had gotten in.
