Blogging has traditionally been a liberal activity, just as talk radio has traditionally been a conservative thing. i think Progressive U is a great site to express your ideas and even learn more about your own political ideology by what you encounter. I have unfortunately though encountered a great deal of left-wing blasphemy that I find hard to respect. My idea for this blog is that the good number of conservative bloggers enlist here to fight the liberal hordes on the new front: blogging.
If you consider yourself a conservative and have a love for America (unlike the hate-propoganda of the left) please list your blogging I.D. and links to any of your blogs you think should be looked at for the sake of the conservative movement or any liberal blogs you think need to be taken on by the joint conservative blogging movement. Together, we can bring the ideologies of good freedom-loving bloggers to Progressive U. You dont have to support McCain or have oober conservative principles. You dont have to like President Bush or consider yourself a capitalist. United as conservatives, we can rationally tackle the issues at hand through debate and refute those who disagree as a unit. Together we can begin the new conservative crusade by uniting in blogsphere. God bless!

Seriously, I hate to think of which hateful commentaries you have encountered. I understood this was to be a forum in which people can express views with civility.
Regarding your war-cry to fight the liberal hordes, I seek some clarification:
Do you intend to annihilate them? This could be dangerous. They are the Yin to your Yang. Without liberals, conservatives would cease to exist. Consult the Tao, the Holy Bible, or ancient mythological texts to explore how this age-old wisdom works.
Without liberal arguments, conservative opinions wouldn't flower...the movement wouldn't continue to evolve toward perfection. It would stagnate. Ok, moving on...
Can one have a few conservative views and a few liberal, all mixed together with a healthy dose of progressivism? I'm wondering if there a maximum percentage allowed in each category? I just want to be sure. I don't want to enlist and be ignorant of the requirements.
I just hope you don't institute a draft...
There will certainly be no draft as this a voluntary crusade. Now I have no intention of forming a group to annihilate the liberals because like you said, that is not possible. However, I feel that if we form a lose network (people placing their blogging I.D.'s on the list) conservatives can actively blog to debate those liberals on blogsphere. Lets say perhaps that the blog of a fellow conservative is being swamped by angry liberal comments, then he or she can call for the help of the conservative bloggers to engage in debate those disagreeing.
Certainly you can put your blogger ID down if you share both conservative and liberal views. If you agree on a conservative issue we'd be glad to have your help in blogging or even helping you.
I just wanted to let you know there's a link to your blog at the bottom of your blog. Everyone else has the same link for their blogs as well. You and all the other "good number of conservative bloggers" on ProU don't really need to cut and paste all those links. ;-)

seems an awful lot like "hate propaganda" to me since a "horde" is a frighteningly unpleasant large crowd and "blasphemy" means an irreverent attitude in regard to something sacrosanct. Given that you're also propogating information reflecting the very views you advocate, that's pretty much the textbook definition of propagandizing.
Oh well, guess you can't start a crusade without first demonizing your enemy.
