The Vice Presidential Debate

As a was watching the Vice Presidential debate I was impressed by Sarah Palin's commanding authority. She may be the governor of the largest state but Alaska has very few people comparitively. For a young politician such as her self, that has not been in the political ring long, she was able to hold her own to one of the most senior most Senators in Washington D.C., Joe Biden. "So it ain't so, Joe." I thought Palin stood out because she was able to connect with her audience and made the audience feel like she was sitting in their living room. Bidin did not accomplish this like Palin did. I felt that he gave the audience the "Washington run around." The only thing that I did not like about Palin's arguements is that she enjoyed talking about her energy policy a little too much. I understand that the energy crisis is a big deal but I would have preferred if she would have not answered so many questions with her ideas about tapping into the countries natural energy sources. Although I do agree with her policy. I think it would be a great idea to tap into the nation's resources and provide more jobs to help the struggling economy. Overall I think Palin won the Vice Presidential debate.

I'm sorry mkfeltch 3 to disagree with you, but both of the vice-presidential candidates acted like morons last night. All I heard the whole night was like listening to CNN's rants about how climate change must be stopped, the healthcare system has to become nationalized, and Wall Street is greedy. I wish Palin had separated herself as from the mainstream media and placed down real ideas for change but I dont think she did.
