Cuteness is completely relative. Though, You might remember the sticky sweet bears on Saturday morning cartoons. You know, the Care Bears? Or there were those Tra-La-La Smurfs that Gargamel wanted to eat for some reason. They were cute, if a trifle annoying. Cartoons just don't seem quite so cute now. Somehow I can't imagine wanting to snuggIe up to sponge bob. He's a bit repugnant and wet. Now am a completely biased parent. So, I will share the cuteness that cuddles me best.

My son Ehren's favorite bedtime song is "My Bonnie Lies over the Ocean." He got this affliction when my husband sang it to him, and he insisted that his bunny was upstairs. He thinks Bonnie is bunny. His favorite bedtime companion in a stuffed brown bunny and my old babydoll from when I was little. He appropriated the bunny from a librarian after the summer read-a-thon.
He sings the bring back part quite gustily as I sing it to him at bedtime

My husband recently read the Hobbit to the boys and myself. He read a chapter per night, and the boys were pretty enthralled. We recently found a ton of Lord of the Rings figurines at a thrift store. My youngest son Ehren is two and doesn't use a lot of words. But, he goes around and scrunches up his face in worry asking, "Where is Frooodo Bagginnns?!" I'm raising the next generation of geeks.. couldn't be prouder!
Cutism 3:
My oldest son Kiernan told me today that he'll love me from here to the moon. (Good thing he never watched the honeymooners)
