OK, so I can be little obsessive compulsive sometimes, but doesn’t it make sense to put a file called commission in a folder CLEARLY marked COMMISSION!
How difficult is that????? AHHHHHHHHHHHH! I just have to keep reminding myself to accept the things I cannot change and to change the things I can, but this is one of those times that I have to stop and think—should I address it or accept it? Is it possible to teach an old dog new tricks or expect excellence from someone who clearly lacks it? Yes, maybe some people don’t consider putting a file in a folder having anything to do with excellence…. Breathe. Yet, if it wasn’t also displayed as a symptom of this person’s actions maybe it wouldn’t seem like such a big deal. If it was just one element, the quark, the idiosyncrasy, the eccentricity, but when it proves itself again and again to simply be another sign, another piece of evidence showing the constant neglect to going beyond simply the standard or average or barely meeting this, it’s so hard for me at least to ignore.
I’m speaking of a lazy co-worker. This is on a very small scale. But the same could be said for those in leadership, celebrities, and the person we all find in the mirror. Strive for excellence, and like I often need to remind myself—take a deep breath and let the perfectionism go when you need to as well. Most importantly, take the time to know the difference.

It can sometimes be hard to let others flaws go, but sometimes you just have to realize that everyone makes mistakes. (even if they're perpetual)
