Something I do not understand nowadays is where were all these anti-war backers at when 9/11 happened? It just doesn’t make sense to me how there could be so many people out there that are crying so much to end the war. Yes I do feel for the troops because I feel bad that they are gone and have to miss out on time with their family, I feel for the ones that won’t ever see their families again in this world, and I feel for the families of these brave men and women that have to miss out on time with their soldier.
However, I remember when 9/11 happened and everyone was ready to take a swing at whoever was the culprit of this horrific event, I was and still am one of these people. We were all fearful for our safety and were saying, “How could the government let this happen?” “Why didn’t we take care of these people before they had the chance to do this.” And once we found out who was behind it all you could hear cries from all around the country to go in there and get these people and make them pay for what they did. So…what happened? Why is it now that the entire tone of this nation has changed to “stop war” and “No war for oil.” These people have even forgotten why we’ve gone over there, they think its for oil! Ridiculous
When I first saw the title of your blog I thought for sure you were going to say that you disagreed with the efforts put forth by our military. I have to say I totally agree. And if anyone's ever seen the Pianist I'll tell you why. Remember the scene when the family is having dinner and the father I believe says he doesn't understand why the jews in American can just "stand by and let this happen to us" how can we stand by and ignore what happened? not only to our own loved ones, but to those under a tyrants regime. Is there a difference between watching innocent people die and allowing it to happen? It just isn't something I can just pretend is about oil and say it's okay.
What you have to remember, though, is that we were lied to about the reason for going to war. We were told at the start that Iraq had something to do with 9/11. No one was against finding bin Laden. Now people are against the war because it has nothing whatsoever to do with what happened on 9/11. It's unprovoked aggression on another country.

When i posted this thing i was almost certain i would only get opposing arguments because it seems like the whole sentiment nowadays is anti-war so it's nice to find someone that agrees and sees what I'm seeing.
And secondly I'm glad that the person that does disagree still uses logic to back up their argument, even at college you won't believe some of the debates i hear people getting into and these people have the worse reasons to believe in what they do. I don't completely agree with the way we're going about the war, i do like how we're making a difference in Iraq because i believe that is important but i also believe we need to put more of an emphasis on afghanistan than we are right now. After all that was were it all started, but for years Iraq was harboring terrorists and if we hadn't taken care of saddam we would have even worse problems today. I believe one day people will see that Bush wasn't as bad of a president as many people think right now.

Fear and insecurities make the truth to bow minds into a aggravated state of ignorance!
Probably some individual thoughts amongst start to feel pretty embarrassed in regard to the ways and approach of that shameful fiasco which surrounds the truth around this war!
Or maybe some amongst are waking up, out of that hypnotic trance they have been lingering in since birth!
It has become that bad, it actually takes one to go and find a homeless person in order to have a normal and sane conversation, since they are ironically and most probably the only individuals left to be found around who are being left unharmed while intelligent enough to understand how to survive amongst, in soul dead societies filled with zombies who rather cling to ilusion raher than to wake up!
Most others are intoxicated by media and others forms of doctrine which have become a social standard dwelling in insanity.
Of course most enjoy to remain in a state of ignorance in which inflicted tyranny is gladly to be excused for whatever idea, reason, or illusionary feel of security!
Not to grasp the misery and trauma which evolves around conflicts of war, must be a blessing for those who support whatever war to be/come a reality in the first place!
The art in resolving a conflict, is to resolve it from the inside out throughout the use of intelligent and genuine intension.
Clearly, there is something missing in the overall view people hold upon truth, making anti war backers to become the next enemies in line!
