Members who have been part of the Progressive U community for an extended period of time now have a place to share their experiences and discuss their ideas with each other.
By joining this group, You've proven that you survived at least one Progressive U Blogging For Progress Scholarship contest. Perhaps this can be your support group to get the help you need for accomplishing such an endeavor.
Joining this group also opens more opportunities for you to further your involvement with Progressive U. Any ideas or suggestions you may have for improving Progressive U will be taken into consideration first.
You can use your membership in this group to do a multitude of things: you can continue blogging and setting examples for new members that join Progressive U, you may consider volunteering to become a faculty member of the Progressive U Alumni Association. Or you may simply talk and share experiences among your selves in the privacy of this group.
Please note...Joining this association is completely voluntary and in no way requires you to volunteer or holds you to participation requirements. You may come and go as you please. However, acceptance into this association no longer means that you are automatically enrolled as a faculty member of the Progressive U Alumni Association. To join the faculty, you must volunteer.
Had an idea about a ProU t-shirt want your input

I had an idea for a ProU t-shirt such as : I am a ProU addict or I belong to PA: ProU anonymous. BurningExample came up with great input with 12 steps on the back. Visit the "We have stuff" post. I forgot to provide a link...
Would any of you buy it or find this t-shirt to be a good idea?
Opinions needed

Hello!!!
Some of you might have noticed a new block... And before I make it public to the rest of Progressive U I'd like your opinions...
The block "Top Alltime Bloggers" lists usernames sorted by the total number of blog entries they've posted during their membership with us. This is an alltime number - in and out of contest.
Your thoughts on ProU for Media Room

Hi everyone! The Public Relations team is getting ready to launch the ProgressiveU Media Room and we need your help. The Media Room will be a "one stop shop" for those interested in doing a story on ProgressiveU. They will be able to find current press releases, other news stories, information on the organization, and other important information all at one central location.
Alumni Advice Input

As most of you have probably noticed, we've had the Alumni Advice column on the sidebar for quite a while (titled Thoughts to Remember). Some of the advice is quiet old and some of it is brand new. We'd like to include advice from you contest veterans, however. If you have something you'd like us to include, post it here and we'll make sure we get it added if it hasn't been added already.
"Log Message" feature in Blogs
Posted January 28th, 2008 by dragonwolfI noticed that the blogs now come with a "Log Message" option, with an explanation of its use as something along the lines of describing reasons for making changes to a blog so the readers will understand your motive.
What do you think?

Okay, so, we have a new feature (or rather, an improvement on an old feature) that we would like your input on!
You'll no doubt have noticed that blogs now have two ways to vote on: the old way and a new, fivestar, method.
There are pros and cons to implementing this new feature, however.

Progressive U Alumni Association - Creating Groups

Hello fellow PUAA Members!!
As members of the Progressive U Alumni Association, we are extending the feature of creating social groups to you. Eventually, this feature may be extended to other members of Progressive U - but for now it's a privilege only you have.
So, there are a few things you need to know about this new feature.
How do I create a group?
Currently, the option to create a new group is only open to members of the Progressive U Faculty and members of the Progressive U Alumni Association. However, anyone may join a group.
To create a group, click on the "Create content" link on your navigation menu; then click on "Group".
Progressive U Faculty

Undoubtedly, as soon as you received your invitation to join the Progressive U Alumni Association, you began to wonder whether or not you had time to volunteer to do more than merely blog or compete for a scholarship.
