Senator Clinton,

I have been a full supporter of you since you introduced your first Universal health care plan. I was very happy that you went into politics after being the First Lady.

As time has gone on, I seem to be losing respect for you by the day. Yours is the only presidential campaign that has been mudslinging. Don't you know that people are sick of it? How can you say that you want to unify the nation as your campaign stabs your Democratic opponent in the back? And now you have the nerve to say that he would make a great Vice-President? You do this without apologies for the old-school ways your campaign has been run.

Yes, I said old-school. That is what we're sick of. We DO want change, need change, and will fight for change. I don't understand how you can preach change and play the same old tired routine with your candidacy.

Speaking of change... Let me address the whole Michigan and Florida issue. You didn't earn those votes. To change the rules now would be detrimental to our already flawed system.

I believe that politics has sucked the soul right out of you. I don't trust you anymore. Your biggest opponents of your original health care plan- the medical insurance companies- are now behind you. I don't see the greedy industry suddenly growing a heart, so all I can think is that you sold out to yet another corrupt system.

Sincerely,
Sonja

Did you hear what Geraldine Ferraro, a Clinton supporter said today?

"If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept"

Because being named Barack Hussein Obama and running for president is such a walk in the park.

This is exactly the kind of thing I'm sick of-- Clinton and her surrogates trying to convince people that sexism is more rampant than racism. I can't stand pitting group against group anymore. And that seems to be perfectly fine with her.

...but I'm definitely not surprised.
I took a gender studies class a couple of years ago. We talked about the possibility of a woman president, and even figured it would be Clinton. The women in that class immediately deemed me anit-feminist (I'm actually pro-equality, not a feminist) for saying that I wouldn't vote for her based only on the fact that we shared a gender. A president should not be voted on because of race, gender, religion, or any other factor that has nothing to do with the capability of being president.

Someone who actually shares my views on this election! In no way, shape or form are you "anti-feminist" because you don't support Clinton. The president of our country should be someone who has strong ideas for shaping our country, not someone who simply says that "Change" is their platform. Whether our next president be African American, female, a septuagenerian, or anything else, they should earn the position because of their plans for our nation's future, instead of the historical moment they could make.

The fact that we do have two minorities running this far into the presidential candidacy is already more than a lot of people could have imagined. It's amazing! It is important to realize that society has grown and matured this far, regardless of anything else.

I heard a quote by Clinton today. I can't remember who she was talking about (I think it might have been the governor of Pennsylvania), but this person had said, "we don't want to go back to the 90s." Hillary: "Which part of the 90s do you not want to go back to- the peace or prosperity?" I guess her speeches about change are only when it'll help her.

I am well aware that I am not anti-feminism. I blame the media for turning this into a gender/race issue. Bill Clinton didn't help.
