So today I was just being bored, surfing the net and I found this article on this lady who had been in a coma (so like a vegetable) for 9 years and then all of a sudden she woke up. Just out of the blue she woke up. And of course everthing had changed in her life. She had no clue where she was. Her kids were all grown up, and she had missed it all. She missed everything. That first date, that first kiss, The senior Prom. All of her child's life, everything. Wouldn't that be weird, just to wake up one day and there's nothing there for 9 years except you laying in bed and the rest of the world going on with out you. Crazy
Actually that wasn't why I decided to blog about this. Not because it would be weird to wake up one day and relize you missed yourlife, although I do find that fascintating,. but the real reason I wrote about this subject is because it made me think about that one lady. Yeah, You know that one lady a few years back that had been a vegetable and there was that great controversy over wether they should have pulled the plug (because they had) because the husband claimed she told him to, but the parents say she never did and it all could have been solved if she would have just had a will. Yeah, you know the one. Anyway, if anyof you know the name of that big issue please clue me in cuz I just can;t remember. Anyway, I just got to thinking about what if we just would have waited one more year, or month, or maybe even day to pull the plug. What if they would have just waited a little bit longer. Would she have lived? Would she have woken up and realized, "dude I've been out of it for that long? Woa, thanks for holdin on and not pulling the plug, because that would have really sucked" Really, wouldn't that be weird? Would that have happened? Could that have happened? What if they just woulld have waited another day? Oh and does anyone think that the husband just pulled the plug so he could get on with his own life and find another woman? Just food for thought.
Could she have lived
