I am sick and tired of hearing parents complianing about how their kids never get out of the house. The parents blame video games that they buy their kids. Then when little jonny says a curse word they blame video games for being to graphic. I ask parents why buy your kids games that are ment to be played by Adults or atleast individuals of 17years of age. The parnets jsut go in to the game store and buy the game for little jonny because they have no idea what the game is about. If parnets knew that in the game you could kill police, hookers, army guys and/or aliens they would have never even picked up the box. But parents claim that their is no rating system for video games so that they know what is apprpreit for their kids. Which is a complete lie that is what the ESRB is for they cleary put what the game is rated on the cover of every game that ships. They even tell you why a game got a certain rating. I have met more kids playing Halo 2 and Gears of War that are under 15 years old than I have met over 15 years old. I think that it is really rediculiuos that parents blame everyoen and everything but themselves. Look if you really want your kid to quit playing video games, when they are at school take the controllers away. Then they will be bored and sit around if you let them or go and do something. I only ask that parnets educate themselves before purchasing a M rated game for their 9 year old kid and don't blame someone else for what you can correct.
