There was a conspiracy, a conspiracy for the United States to be destroyed. It didn't work. Lives were destroyed,but to this point the nation has not been destroyed.
Let's stop blaming the U.S. government for something that was perpetrated upon all Americans. Conservative, liberal, those terrorists didn't care one bit which political party you agreed with or what nationality you were. The attack was designed to attack our nation. Now we continue to attack each other over who was responsible. The responsibility lies on Osama ben laden and his cohorts.

Oh my God, this debate is ridiculous. The American government knew about the 9/11 attacks, remember the memo we sent to Britain? Yeah. The Iraq war was already in our agenda before 9/11, planned or not. The government KNEW and didn't do shit about it and we're ignoring that fact. They should be held accountable. The problem is that we don't know WHO to blame because too many people are involved whether they know it or not. But no one should be above the law, like those Lay and Skilling guys.
Is this liberal shit? No. It's not from one party or two, it's from a group of people who have lost their passion for America. Republicans and Democrats both care about the country. Assholes in the government right now just don't care.
As for your "crazy" 9/11 theories, perhaps you should be doing more of what they're doing. Questioning the government. It's been PROVEN that we KNEW about 9/11 which, by the way, was committed by Saudi Arabians.
My high school economics book pointed out that we have a STRONG trade relationship with Saudi Arabia. Do you want me to quote them?
"For similar reasons, a country like Saudi Arabia produces more crude oil than it can consume - enabling it to export the surplus. The US, in turn, produces more military aircraft than it consumes - allowing it to sell aircraft to Saudi Arabia in exchange for oil."
And any person knows that if you have a strong trade relationship like that, you do NOT want to fuck up the relationship.
