Hey Guys,
My name is Hannah and I am a 17 year old junior at a small private preparatory school in Southern Florida. I found out about some neat scholarship opportunities that this site offers, and I have to confess that is the main reason that I am starting this blog, but after looking at some of the posts and comments at this website I think that this website looks like a legitimate community that has some very interesting conversations.
I am hoping to also start and be involved in some discussions about politics, colleges, religion, and other issues that effect teenagers. Even though I am eager to join in all the fun I am still pretty new to blogging. Don't get me wrong I read a lot of blogs it's just I've never had enough reason to indulge my narcissism, by starting a blog, until now. So, because I am still a rookie at this, if there is anyone in the ProgressiveU community who might have some pointers or tips for me, please leave a comment. If there is anyone reading this who may not have some pointers for me, but is still an active member of the comunity, I would really appreciate it if you would say hello. I would love to meet other people on this site who are interested in the same things as me.
Until next time folks,
Hannah

Those are a good start. Anytime you see someone with a badge like mine on their comments or blogs, you can identify them as alumni members. They've been around before, and most are willing to help out if you need any. Welcome to ProgressiveU.

Hey
Thanks for the comment, man! Those links are really helpful, I appreciate it!
I too just joined this site because of the scholarship offer. I was amazed to see the topics and debate that are going here. i dont know how the politics of this place work, it seems random which blogs and topics get attention. i am from alaska so all in all i dont know if im the kind of help you need, and so far we seem about as opposite as people can be but if i ever figure this place out i'll let you know. good luck and keep in touch :)
"i am from alaska" ---It really doesn't matter if you're from Antartica. I can't wait to hear what you have to say.
Hey Trutalk,
That is an AWESOME attitude! Thanks for commenting too!
Hey
Thanks, Locke! I will keep in touch with you. And despite the huge distance between where we live, I'm sure we could find that we have some things in common! :)
