I've got this book called "God's Promise Rock (your world)" and so far, I love it. It gave me lots of Bible verses that help me get through out my daily life. Being a nursing student is really hard, you know... Dealing with the patients, having a wack instructor, tests are hard, plus the tons of reading, certaintly makes my life crazier. But then there's God. He's the One who comforts me and helps me with my studying. I'm a religious person, so by reading His words through the bible, it comforts me in a way that I can't explain.
So I'm going to share the verse that undergo the topic "What to do when trouble hits you"
Nahum 1:7
The Lord is good, giving protection in thimes of trouble. He knows who trusts in him.
John 14:1
Jesus said, "Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust in me."
Romans 8:28
We know that in evertying God works for the good of those who love him. They are the people he called, because that was his plan.
Psalm 31:7
I will be glad and rejoice in your love, because you saw my suffering; you knew my troubles.
Psalm 121:1-2
I look up to the hills, but where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
2 Cor 1:3-4
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is the Father who is full of mercy and all comfort. He comforts us every time we have trouble, so when others have trouble, we can comfort them with the same comfort God gives us.
Phil 4:6-7
Do not worry about anyting, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks. And God's peace, which is so great we cannot understand it, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
James 1:2-3, 12
My brothers and sisters, when you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience. When people are tempted and sitll continue strong, they should be happy. After they have proved their faith, God will reward them with life forever. God promised this to all those who love him.
These words really helped me when I'm stressing for an exam, or when I'm in high anxiety the night before clinicals. I hope this could be any blessing to you guys who read this.

Hey!!!
Thanks for being brave and standing up for what you know to be true... the bible. Maybe if we had a few more people standing up on the right thing, the world would be alot better
Its hard to say what is the right thing these days!

I don't begrudge anyone their personal faith, whatever it may be. And we all have something, religious or otherwise, that comforts us in a time of need. But I'm curious about your comment--how do you KNOW the Bible to be true, outside of personal faith? Even if you believe it to be true in your own heart, that doesn't mean it's the "capital T" truth for everyone. You imply that the "right thing" must entail religion, specifically the Bible. I would say that maybe if we had a few more people standing up for the right thing without trying to impose their beliefs on others (and I'm not saying that you are per se, just giving a general statement), then the world would be a lot better.
Sorry, this reply was supposed to be for grover's comment below...I neglected to put in in the right place.
