Why the hatred in this world?

So as I am getting ready for bed and checking my email and my myspace, xanga, and facebook for the final time tonight, I have come across a bulletin on my myspace. It is about this girl who lived in Washington state. who was slain for no reason. there is no apparent motive to this all. she was at work, then was stabbed to death. i have never met this girl in my life, but yet i find myself wanting to cry for her. She was just 6 days shy of her 18th birthday, just a month or so from graduation. but that has been taken from her. it has made me think about the fact that i have taken this life for granted. i take for granted that i will be able to talk to everyone tomorrow, but who is to say i will? my life could end just like hers did. I have noticed that others must feel the same, i have seen people who have added her to their friend list from across the country. new york, kentucky, oklahoma, so on and so forth. and people say that the teens of today only care about themselves.

Anna-i never met you, but i want you to know that you and your friends and family will be in my thoughts. rest in peace-i hope to meet you one day.

That's really sad. I hope the murderer is found. Nobody deserves that sort of end, especially a young woman that still has a whole lifetime ahead of her to do great things. It's too bad.
