The day after Halloween, the stores starting putting out Christmas decorations. Why would people need to prepare for Christmas two months ahead of time. I know that getting an early start on things is always the best to do, but it really doesn't take that long to prepare for Christmas. I would understand if they waited until after Thanksgiving to start putting Christmas decorations out, but they don't. I honestly can say that I don't know anyone that starts buying Christmas gifts until after Thanksgiving, so why do stores waste their time?? Also, I already started hearing Christmas music on the radio. They need to wait until at least December to start playing Christmas music. It just all makes Christmas less exciting.

I love Christmas, well December I should say. But I do have a pet-peeve when people decorate and get ready for the holidays right after Halloween.

I dont decorate for any holiday till one month before it. I will decorate for Christmas on Dec. 1st. The stores in Louisiana start selling christmas decor in September. Which is crazy. but i do start buying christmas gifts way in advance. Like starting in January I will buy a xmas gift if i see something for someone. So when dec. does come i wont have to dish out all this money that I dont have. I would have had the gifts already. Thats why I do it.
I don't decorate early, but when when it comes to taking the decorations down....my family is very lazy. We once left our christmas tree up till April because we didn't want to take it down, and we were seeing how long we could leave it up without going insane.
