Top 10 in 2006

Alright, so every year I try to compile the top ten things that happened.  This can be in politics, in the general media, and even some personal events.  This year, while I was thinking of a list, I thought "hey, why don't I make this a list that all progressiveu bloggers could take a part in.  What I plan to do is ask you the top ten things that happened in the media and to you in 2006 and I'll post it on December 31.  This way the dedicated bloggers who will be blogging after the scholarship is done will see it.  It can be anything and if you post a really important personal happening, that would be great because I plan to make the most touching or radical personal event my number one.

So here's a list of what I thought of off the top of my head.  Politics wise there's a lot to choose from, for example the election where the Democrats took back control of the house, Kerry's big flop (calling the soldiers in Iraq stupid or at least it came out that way),  and the Sadam trial.  Media wise, you could choose a lot of things such as the multiple births of babies including the famous brangilina baby and the TomKat baby.  We could also talk about break-ups such as the Reese and Ryan split or the Brittany and K-Fed split.  For the personal topics anything goes.  It could be getting into your choice college, surviving a really hard test, or even overcoming a chronic illness.

This is sort of a way that I reflect on the year that has passed and predict what's to come.  It's also a way for me to formulate resolutions.  It would be great if you guys could help out and I will definitely post the results on December 31 along with a giant thank you.  Happy blogging.
