So for someone to really understand technology they would have to understand science. And to understand science you would have to understand the motive of scientist. So as we know it scientist are studying the natural world and trying to find answers to it. And they do come up with some really neat discoveries. But that's not what really drives them. Unfortunately I'm sure that "seeking the truth" is the last thing on their mind. I think that they are really preoccupied with accomplishment to think about what they are doing. The act of discovery is really a penetrative act all together. Scientist doesn't see this as a problem. They think discovery is inevitable. There for they want to do it first. It's like a very aggressive game that they play. Discovery in turn isn't all true. Because, as stated "you can't study something without changing it" there for studding "the natural world" in its own name is an acronym. Lets take for example the excavation of a dinosaur. They cut into the ground and dig and break apart dirt. Do you think that they put it all back? That they replant what they took out? No because that would be a waste of money. According to them. So back to the technology, it's great right? Did you know that the number of hours women devote to cleaning a house hasn't changed sense 1930? Why that? New vacuum cleaners and dishwashers? Advanced right?
How far have we really come?

i guess your kind of right, but i beleive the main reason behind it us to make money. or they might be looking to find there purpose, each wants to know why they're here.
that also could be true, i mean everyone all has a greater purpose in mind that in reality they see nothing bad with. but its just in the after math that it comes to be
I didn't really understand your post. Why should scientists rebury dinosaurs? O.o Why do you think we haven't come far? Take a look at how high the average life expectancy is now, and it's getting higher every day. Look at how many once-fatal diseases have been cured. Look at how people can so easily travel and communicate.
