i completely agree with it not being right for gays to be married by the bible because the bible is against homosexuals. However, not every is married by a priest who is reading out of the bible. Marraige especially in recent days is just combining taxes and having each other liable for life insurance. In fact, i have asked a lot of newly weds and people that have been married a long time and they all say situations including money gets more stressful once you get married. so why not let the homosexuals be as miserable as everyone else? yes it is against the bible but not everyone is christian. And u can get married legally at the city hall which doesn't relate to to religion at all.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."
I believe you can't help who you love. boy or girl. it's the chemistry. So who are we to judge people that fall in love with the same sex? this is supposed to be a land of freedom so why are we preventing people from getting married to someone they love if they want to?
also, y r there laws being made based on the christian religion (i'm christian im just wondering) such as, the gay marraige law in most states, when this country was supposed to be land of the free. and one of our freedoms is freedom of religion. not everyone is christian, or follow the bible, so i dont think it is fair to treat everyone like they do follow that religious belief.
i say let gays get married if they want. it doesn't hurt anyone else. and if it does then that's their problem.

Where in the bible does it say that homosexuality is wrong? Name that verse.
And you kind of contradicted yourself. If you believe we can't help who we love, how can you believe at the same time that homosexuality is wrong? Just wondering...

obviously if im for gay marraige i obviously don't care about ppl being gay maybe i wrote something wrong i'll go back in look.
I completely feel that we shouldn't tell people they can't get married...think about it what if we banned interracial marriage or marriage to someone of another religion or social class...it's all the same principle...none of the example hurt anyone...they are all just ways for our freedoms to be limited...
and the reason it's being based off of religion is b/c unfortunately in a country with no set national law our leaders enforce it...think about it when was the last time we had a secular leader...oh that's right never...b/c America brought religion in a long time ago and we're afraid of change...even though it's hurting American's and taking away their freedom
