I do not see how people get caught on illegal drugs, but I always wondered how do so many drugs get imported into the U.S. On Monday Panama's police, with U.S. help, seized 21 tons of cocaine off the Panama Coast. The article is right here. This is a huge ammount that was seized. That had me thinking about why people from other smuggle illegal drugs into other countries, incluiding the U.S. There needs to be more jobs available for these people. It is a shame that the only way so many people from impoverished nation can make a living is by doping up other on illegal drugs. The illegal drug market is very huge, though I do not have no statistics on it currently. People will sink to anything, and I don't blame them. So many people have feed their family, and in so many places there are not enough jobs available for them to take. I wonder what some of these countries do with their money because to me it is not for the betterment of their citizens. The citizens need to take charge of their countries and demand better jobs, better insurance, and better pay. It is no wonder why there are so many illegal immigrants that come into the U.S. Their government is not doing enough for them and they want a better standard of living. It saddens me, in a land of opportunity aka the U.S. there are so many people selling illegal drugs to get by. This international and national problem needs to be solved. Yes, its a shame that people have to selel drugs to make a living In America. But the US federal Government has about 8Trillion BETTER THINGS to do than provide jobs for so many immigrants.
I do not want to sound disintrested in the immigrants plight. not at all. i kno many, legal or not, and cannot express what shame i hold in their hard-working sweat and shadows (or shadowed sweat), but the US GOVT is not the entity to proivde jobs to these people. WHat the hell would they give them anyway? FED truck driving jobs? i suppose it would cut our deficeit theoritically, but nothing exists in the theoretical for bureucrats. Only waste exists for them.
This is a matter ONLY for businesses to RESPONSIBLY and HUMAINELY employee workers (such as immigrants) when they offer their services.

I don't think you take into account how the U.S. basically rapes other countries economically and makes it especially hard for Central America to do well in the economy because of the government's fear of 'working with the commies'. And did you say the citizens need to take charge? Do you know where Panama is? Do you know about the history of Central American revolutions. Didn't think so.
Anyway, if you do care about the condition, then donate money, there are tons of progressive organizations.
