This blog is dedicated to those people out there that just throw around the word love. I'm convinced that no one really understands what this word means. With the way I've seen people mindlessly use it in their day to day conversations I'm sure no one really knows what it means or the potential value behind it. When people use it like this the word in all meaning loses that once so great meaning it had. Think back to a time when we didn't have writing. Did you know during that time that in the Chinese language they didn't have a word for love? How could you tell someone that you really cared for him or her? How could you comfort someone close to you and convince him or her every thing's ok? The point I'm making is it's a powerful word and shouldn't be an "everyday word". Save it. Because when you find it. You will understand what I mean. And you too will be agitated with the use of it around you. Let's say for personal experience. You know someone that has been with someone else for a whole 2 days... do you think its right of him or her to use this word? I don't.

I 100% agree. I think the word is thrown around way too much not only ensuring people don't understand whats behind it, but also taking value away from it. I think personally, that it's about having an undeniable emotional connection with a special person, knowing you can tell them anything and would do anything for them and they would do the same for you. The fact that kids think they know love and what it means after a two week relationship is downright appalling. People need to look around and see the difference between love and lust.

exactly...because for the few of us that do get it...the meaning is often taken away or we get put into awkward situations about being able to use the word without it being cliche.
Our minds play tricks upon us, so we are rapidly referring to love being the thing that has us in our grip, while this is all wrong.

i think if your into god and religion thats great. but honestly they need to keep it to them selfs. lol
I agree but you can't really understand the word love until you find it whether it's with a friend or a significant other.
