I feel that rights to decide your own sexuality are being denied! I myself am not a lesbian, but I was part of starting a gay straigh aliance at my high school! I believe that every one is entitled to their own opinion. But also that everyone is entitled to their own life. We are severely infringed upon by government!!! We should not be allowing them to even talk about deeciding who we are and are not allowed to marry! Beyond that fact WHO CARES!! If you dont agree with gay or lesbians....then dont befriend them! You dont need to be concerning yourself in minor acts of other peoples lives! If we begin to let people and government control who were allowed to marry what will be next what we can and cannot wear or what we can eat? By standing up for what we believe in early we will show them that the American people are still standing for what we fought for in the begining! When George Washington rode to fight the English to gain independence he was fighting for our FREEDOM! so why would we let America the land of the free be limited by our own government. Dont let the fallen soldiers have died for nothing! Keep their cause alive! How far will you let this go?

I come from a small town and the amount of kids against gays is alarming. Not being gay myself i dont really see why someone wants to be gay... but seriosuly that is there choice and there is nothing you can do about it..LET IT GO PEOPLE! I moved last year to a school in texas about 4 times the size of mine and being gay wasnt a big deal and it mad me open my eyes to the fact that it really it isnt a big deal at all... And found one of my best friends there who happens to be gay and i would do anyhting for that guy. But it kills me seeing people ridicule the gay. That same person could be against smoking and still have a smoker that is a close friend. But that same person is against gays and would never be friends with someone that is gay. Which is such a oxymoron. LET IT GO PEOPLE.
