I really admire the Dove company for their new beauty campaign. Every girl needs to know that she is beautiful. The American media portrays beauty in such a bad way. They say that the only way a girl is beautiful is if she's skinny, and the perfect size breasts, the perfect face, wears the right clothes, etc. But I completelt disagree. And I hope that many of you out there so as well. Every girl has beauty and value. It doesn't matter if you're a size 2 or a size 12. You're beautiful. And I want you to know that you're loved. I know many of you don't feel that way, but you are. Maybe you don't think you have any friends. Maybe you don't feel loved at home. Maybe you don't feel like you have anyone you can count on or turn to. But I want to tell you right now, you do. Jesus Christ loves you. I know some of you are thinking, 'oh great, another one of those Christians.' And you can tune me out if you want, but I speak the truth, The Lord is a friend, in fact He is the greatest friend you will ever have. And he loves you. You are his child. He sent his son to die for you, so that if you accept him, you can live in heaven with him forever.

I do not agree on the part that "the Lord is your friend" since no one should have to count on anyone else to feel loved and accepted.
But,
YOU are your friend, and if YOU do not like yourself, NO ONE will, because you cannot change what people think of you, but can change what you think of yourself.
The media is not the best place to look for beauty, but you should look for beauty within yourself, and do not let people control you and tell you how you are supposed to look.
And you should not care about living with "God" forever instead of caring about your own life. First live your life, and if you believe that there is a heaven, then when you get there you can live with "the Lord" for eternity. But life on earth is the only life that has been proven for humans, and we only get one, so live it, and praise yourself, believe in yourself, sing for yourself, 'pray' to yourself.
I agree with your statement that If you don't like yourself, no will like you. But I disagree with what you say about God. I know that there are many out there that don't believe in God. And my hear goes out to them. The decision I made when I gave my life to Christ was the best one I ever have. He is a friend. And He can be your friend if you simply ask. There is only one way to get to heaven, and that is by Him.
You don't have to agree with my personal beliefs. But think about this: All other religions say that you should believe what they say, but if you don't you still have the chance at a decent/happy afterlife. But Christianity is different, if you don't accept Christ, you will not go to heaven. So if everyone else is right, I will go to heaven, but so will everyone else. However, if Christianity is right, I will go to heaven, but those who don't believe will not. I have nothing to lose..

It seems like you're partly motivated by fear of not getting into "heaven". Personally, if I live my live and I'm a great person but I don't get into "heaven" (if there is one)just because I didn't accept Chirst in my life then I don't want to be there there anyway (yeah, I said it).

I realize that it does sound like im motivated by fear...but im not. its true that if you don't accept Christ you won't go to heaven. but you shouldnt accept Him out of fear. and i don't. i accept Him because of all that He has done for me...and for you too, even though you don't agree

Says who? What makes this a undeinable fact? You can believe it, but don't state it as fact if you can't show hard evidence for it, becuase that's what you're doing. I think you don't get the difference between faith and what you believe is the truth to you personally and what you can prove is true to everyone else.

Christianity does not stand or fall on its moral principles or depth of mystical experience. If that were true, then it would be no better than any other religion in the world, and Jesus Christ would be only another great religious or moral teacher. No, Christianity stands or falls entirely on the person and work of one man: Jesus Christ. Either He was who He claimed to be, the Lord of the Universe, who came to earth as man, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as an atonement for our sins, and rose again from the dead, or the entire Christian faith is a gigantic lie.
