Please read this article http://www.post-trib.com/news/294327,depauw.article. It is about how the Delta Zeta sorority dismissed some members, and now Depauw University is rejecting that sorority. I guess what goes around comes around.
DePauw University's Delta Zeta sorority is not a good example for sororities. I cannot believe they kicked some of their members out of their sorority. If a sorority needs to improve their image, a good way to do this is help tutor kids, build homes, or volunteer, not kick members out. How can some organization just do that? Depauw University is smart to disassociate itself from that organization. It makes no sense. People should not get kicked out of an organization based on their prettiness or lack there of. What is wrong with society? It seems to me that if someone doesn't fit into an image of another's that person has no right to be affiliate with him or her. Those that were kicked out should never have joined that sorority in the first place; they are too good for it. There are plenty of other sororities that are better and that know how to treat their members. People should have the freedom to dress or appear the way they want to appear that does not infringe on another without getting kicked out. If the women that were kicked out by the sorority did not fit the sorority's image, why pick them to join the club? They tore those women's hearts when Delta Zeta rejected them. Probably making them feel like outcasts. I know that had to hurt a lot. Now, it is that sorority turn to get rejected and move to another place. What goes around comes back around.

I read about that not long after the decision was made. Good for DePauw!

I can't believe they tried to pull this off! I admire the 6 girls that resigned after the decision.
