I'm a Virgo. If you believe in astrological signs and the characteristic that come with then you understand my character. Virgo's are analytical, matter-of-fact, perfectionist people. We evaluate all the facts before making a decision. Of course there are always exceptions to the rule. So here is my deliberation, in making decisions should you follow what your heart is saying or what your mind has processed?
At my thirty some years of age I can't really base all decisions on my heart. Should I move back to California? Should I stay where I am? My heart says to stay in the state that I am in but from an analytical point of view I think I should return to California. A friend of mind told me, “When ever I made decisions based on my thought and reason it has never worked out. When I make decisions based on what my heart tells me then I always succeed". He is a very successful young man; obviously he is doing something right. Me, on the other hand, can't get either one of them right.
My friends statement really sparked an interest. I plan on keeping a "score card'. How many decisions based on my heart turned out well and how many didn't. The same with decisions based on facts and analytical thought process. Let's see which one wins. My bet is on the Heart. Will anyone else take this challenge?
