Have you ever noticed the yellow stickers on the back of passing cars that say "Support Our Troups"? Are there people that do not support the troups? Absolutely. There should be no question about whether or not you support our troups because they ARE America. They pave the path that America is going to travel in the future years, and hence all of the citizens futures. However, you can question what the president is doing with the troups and support or deny him accordingly. I have heard it said that people support their troups, and because they support them they want them to come home. That's an agreeable statement in its own way, although really in the end it's contradictory in that they do not support the idea of a military in Iraq, and thus they do not support the entire militia. Perhaps they may support an individual in the military, but that is completely different than "Supporting Our Troups". So why would someone even bother to say that they support their troups but wish they weren't really troups. There are protesters that attend the funerals of deceased soldiers, and that's just sick. The extent to which some individuals go to portray their indignant feelings is ridiculous.

Hmmm, interesting way of putting things, maybe they should make custom made yellow ribbons?
I agree that people should have the right to say whether they support the troups or not. As for those people that say they do support them but want them to go home, maybe they think that the troups have done enough and we've had enough so its time to end all of this. They just recognize what our troups have done, but some things are unecessary and its about time to end it.
If it ends now what has been accomplished? If people really support the troops they should support them staying in Iraq until the country is stabalized otherwise all they have sacrificed is for nothing. You don't have to agree with the war, I sure don't, to realize that you can't go into the middle east destabalize the region and leave because it is unpopular. The United States military is an all volunteer army so everyone in Iraq has chosen to be there. That is why our troops deserve our support.
