Yes, the world is going to be underwater perhaps before I'm dead and gone, but...let's suppose that it never happens, let's suppose that instead of going underwater, we find a way to go back in time and slow down the process of global warming. No way you say! This cannot be! Go back in time! But how??? How you ask? Simple...I have discovered the cure. The other day I'm watching Oprah, yes, Oprah, and she mentions that it takes millions of years to get rid of those plastic bags we put our groceries in, and if we say fine, I'll take paper instead, that kills over a thousand trees just for one fricken bag, so I'm like, great, what do I got to do, carry my groceries by hand? No! There's a way around this little hurdle, reusable bags! No, not recycled bags, but reusable! She even sells them on her website, but when I went to the site is was like $10 a bag! How can I afford a bunch of $10 bags for my groceries? I can barely afford to pay for the groceries, so than I stop by my local health conscious grocery store, a.k.a. Publix, and they offer a cheaper solution. For just a buck you can get their reusable Green Bag, yes a green bag! How creative is that? We now have plenty of these bags and never have to worry about plastic bags piling up in our house again. Now why the long boring story just to tell you to stop by Publix, because it's simple little things that make a big difference is what I'm trying to say and it's no inconvenience to you because you were headed to Publix anyways. So, then I watched Al Gores global warning video, wow! What a downer that was! But, if it's not as easy as I think to because a scientist, perhaps all these scientist might be right and we need to do our part to take care of this enviroment instead of just destroy it, so...I had some extra plastic tubs lying around (although if you don't use a trash bag), and what I did was write on each plastic tub either paper, plastic, cans, or glass, and now...I recycle! Wow! So much easier and not as inconvenient as I thought...plus I now take out the trash a lot less, and holy cow I was throwing away a lot of reusuable material! We have a lot of resources in this country, but lets not take them for granted, what if we were born in a 3rd world country, we would be going crazy over an empty can, yah! An empty can finally would give us something to cook in or boil water in! Wow! So, basically what I'm trying to say is, a little effort can go a long way so, please recycle, waste less, and live free and prosper!
Recycle for a day
