Hello, my name is Samantha but ever one just calls me Sammy. I am 19 years old. This is new to me but I thought the whole blogging thing would be something nice to try. Here is a little about me and why I am here.
I was adopted when I was 10 by my grandparents. Things went really wrong and they ended up kicking me out on my 18th birthday. I had no where to go and no money. It took awhile but I finally got a place to stay with a close friend of mine. They let me stay in their camper. I knew I had to get a job and fast. I had no idea how but I had to try. I called up my uncle and worked with him to get a position at his work. From then on till I graduated Highschool I worked every night after school (6:00pm) till 10:30pm. Once I graduated I knew I had to get into college. I worked hard and won two scholarships, a $500 Breakfast Lions Club and the $2,000 Dale Kruger Scholarship. I registered and before I knew it I was in college. I got a new job at a pizza place but after two months was laid off because of dificulties in the Job's payments (they couldn't afford me).
After a few months in college I finally felt settled. I met a wonderful man who I fell in love with. The hard thing is that he had kids. When I made a partnership with him I became a semi parent. with school and finding a job and my home life it became very hard. But I held on. I put my talent at heart and became a dance teacher. With $40 coming in once a week it is still VERY hard but ok. BUt one issue. Now that my second year of school is coming up I have fell short of money and found my self $500 short, which brought me here.

I am really proud that you perservered, its not something you see in young people these.[omg. im younger than you and look at what I just said idk I think I have alot of wisdom for my age] but yeah I'm hoping to get money for college to I want to get out of Texas and experience new things. My mom doesn't make that much money and sometimes we don't get to pay everything off but she does everything she can for us thats one of the two reasons I want to go off to college and make something of myself, the other being I want to change the world.
