Is it me or have people these days lost their common sense? Has someone ever done something and you look at them and just wonder: Is this person serious? Have you ever read the back of your shampoos or household cleaning supplies and you wonder why is their a caution against people drinking it (I mean who would do that)? Have we lost our common sense.
Think about all the laws we have to protect children. For example, helmets. Why? People were riding bikes before and they were doing just great. A few people lose common sense and now we need helmets. Now we need laws against myspace and other internet forums and chat rooms. How many times are we going to tell you not to meet people from the internet.
Or those creams and powders you have. If you get a rash or irritation, discontinue use. Why would you keep using it in the first place? It's causing you problems.
I was so so surprised when my parents talk about their lives in Jamaica. They said that on new years they would light firecrackers. Yes, FIRECRACKERS! (I am sure they were smaller than the big Disney type ones) And this was when they were about in the tweens and teens. They would light one and set them off. And then someone else from another part of the country would respond by setting off two firecrackers. And then someone else 3. And everyone just kept doing it. Now there are laws against people doing that because it's dangerous.
Sometimes, I wonder if people today have lost their common sense. HOW IS SOMETHING DANGEROUS NOW BUT IT WASN'T BEFORE? What is wrong with us?
Yes, sadly look around you and you will see common sense has fled the scene.
Sadly some people never had any
