Global Warming?

Well I'm freezing my butt off and it only looks to be getting colder. Where's Global Warming? I live in Kansas, this is where warming and dry climates should be happening according to Global Warming. So why am I in my house under two inches of ice. And the rest of the central states getting hammered with ice and massive amounts of snow? It can't be all be because of el nino. It should be a warming el nino according to Global Warming right? But yet almost half the country has been buried under ice, snow, or percipitation in the past three to four weeks. This makes no sense to me. Also what happened to alll the category five hurricanes that were supposed to happen? We had no major hurricanes hit the States this entire last year. What happened? Also why did scientist thiry years ago say the world was going to freeze over, and not from nuclear winter? Cannot they make up their minds, or do they just have no clue what's going on? Al Gore has a lot of explaining to do. And a movie this time just is not going to cut it.

The keyword with global warming is the global part. I hear ya, considering here in Colorado we've had 4 blizzards in as many weeks, but it's also been nice and toasty most of the winter out east. They already have flowers blooming because it's been so warm.

The current theory is that Earth is not cooling as a whole, but in a period of global warming. We're supposed to have cycles of hot and cold. Or something. Eventually, global warming is supposed to cause a tiny Ice Age. Maybe you're feeling the early effects of it..

I don't believe in global warming. A lot of the weather changes around here have to do with weather patterns and the jet stream. People are just trying to scare everyone into preserving the environment which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but making up a theory to get their point across is pathetic. I live in the midwest too, and we received quite a bit of snow this winter. Scientists can't even prove that global warming exists. The weather has not been recorded long enough to be able to study the long term results and see if the earth is really warming.
