Have you heard of a modeling agency called Ugly Rage Models? Despite the fact that we see these skinny, pretty, perfect models everywhere, there really is a modeling agency which recruits the other "not so pretty" people.
I believe the company started in Europe. Now, it's making way into the United States. Honestly, I hope people will see talents in other types of beautiful people. We have so many unusual looking faces, yet no one cares enough to even look at them. Our faces and bodies are forms of art. It's something that should be appreciated.
Everywhere I turn, I see the same kinds of models in front of the magazines. It's getting boring. Shouldn't there be something new in the fashion industry? Models shouldn't be forced to "shape up" if they're happy with the way they look. People should stop throwing mean comments at other people just because they seem different.
Ugly Rage Models is opening a whole new opportunity for average (and not so average) looking people to be models. I saw people who have multiple piercings on their faces, men with too much muscles on their bodies, women with unique body type, and other things that I never thought a human can have before. What should a man look like or how should a woman appear in front of public? This is the question that comes into my minds when I search their gallery.
Now, I understand more of what it's really like to be "different".
