I use to be a major procrastinator. I guess I still am, especially tonight. I hate procrastinating even though I do it. It creates stress, and doesn't allow me to get enough sleep on days that I especially need it. I encourage every procrastinator to fight this evil. It will only cause greif.
I'm usually pretty good about not procrastinating so much anymore. But seriously, tonight is one of those nights that I'll probably go to bed at like 1:00 in the morning. I have to get up around 5 a.m. tommorow too, so it really sucks. So welcome to my world.
Procrastination is indeed an evil, but I think that doing even more activities will help fight it, ironically. When I was doing two sports this past winter, and SAT classes twice a week, I got all my homwork in no problem, and there was no room for procrastination. It was mandatory that I used my time up wisely and efficiently, and it resulted in success, (aka survival).
I encourage you guys to participate in as much stuff as you can, just to be involved and meet new people. And of course, to fight the evils of procrastination. lol. So this is my tid bit of the night, as I sit here like a hyprocrit. But the first thing I'm doing when I get off is finishing my homework.
So don't procrastinate in taking heade to my thoughts of the night.

Ugh. Procrastination is evil, and I am starting to believe deadly. Procrastination always creates stress for me and awhile ago I read an article that said that too much stress can be fatal! This is yet another reason to kick the procrastination habit. To bad it is one of those things that is easier said than done (at least for me anyway.)
I hate that I usually wait until the last minute to do whatever...mostly homework. I keep myself up half the night finishing something that should have been done like a week ago.
Granted, I am a little bit better at time management than I was, but I've still got a long way to go...

lol i agree. I sometimes even open up my books and turn up my music and don't even do homework. Just sit for 2 hours listening to music, But when my schedule is full I do all of it and I think it has to do with the pressure
we need to get off our bad habits in highschool and get better habits for when college comes around.
Yeah, I can totally relate to what your saying, I tend to let myself be distracted be other things, mostly music, when I am supposed to be doing something. In fact, I didn't study for an AP test until the morning of, and although I got the highest grade possible anyways, I know that's a really horrible habit that isn't going to work out in life... So, good luck.
