So the biggest issue that I've seen in political campaigning thus far is abortion. My feeling on the issue are:
1. a woman should be able to decide what to do with her own body;
HOWEVER.....
A. may only use abortion to solve the problem of:
1. incest
2. rape
3. to save the life of the mother
I believe that in cases of not using protective measures which ends in a pregnancy there is no excuse to use an abortion because it was a lack of judgement and pure stupidity that caused this to happen......
If all women that "accidentally" got pregnant were to have an abortion, then there would be no children in the world, because most pregnancies (unplanned) are accidental (obviously). I also feel that if I were to become pregnant at this moment in time that I would keep my child even if I am not ready to be a parent yet.
Thanks for listening.

Lack of judgement and pure stupidity? What if she was pressured or coerced into having sex? What if she was told lies about contraception (like, "If I pull out you won't get pregnant")? What if she was safe and responsible and only had sex with one partner and always used protection - and one time the protection failed?
Btw, I invite you to take a look at this: http://www.progressiveu.org/020948-step-step-argument-abortion-it-murder
I completely understand where you're coming from, but if she wanted to have sex in the first place, she should have looked at all of the information involved... there is no reason for a young girl to not look at the stats about sex when they are right in front of her. There is easy access to find out about all of the new forms of birth control and about how effective each one is. This is just a poor lack of judgement on the girls part.. I was that girl once, and I know that I checked out everything before jumping into the sexual pool of stupidity.
