Awesome Life

It started for me in 1989. Sega Genesis was released in New York, New York. The Chinese authorities declare martial law in the face of prodemocratic demonstrations, setting the scene for the Tienanmen Square massacre. The movie Batman was released in the United States. President George H. W. Bush delivers a nationally televised speech in which he threatens the use of force to remove Iraqi soldiers from Kuwait, which Iraq had recently invaded.
And I was born on May 12, 1989, with a damaged aorta valve. This damaged valve was unbeknownst to the doctors as they did medical tests on me. They sent me home damaged and broken. Three days later my parents and other family members noticed that I was having a hard time breathing. I'm rushed to the hospital where doctors dispute over my well being. It was decided, by a senior doctor, that I was to be airlifted to a hospital that could perform open heart surgery. Hours of intense surgery pass by, and I am fixed up with notice of an oversized heart. I almost didn't make it, but how did I survive this? Or even why? Thousands of babies die each year from birth, and I was one of the few exceptions. It is even amazing that you, the reader, are alive and well. We had no choice of being born to whom we were going to be born too. We couldn't have planned this life, but we are here, and I would like to write on behalf of all the babies, and embryos that did not make it through birth that life through all it struggles, through all its ups and downs, through all the good and the bad that this life is Awesome! Sad as it is that they didn't make it I am glad that I did.
With this life we are given an option. That option is what do we do with our life? We can help a third world country, we can donate our money and time, we can play video games, start a buisness, we could even start a guild of assassins and eliminate the scum of this world or even be the scum of this world to take it over. We could try to start a revolution in China or even try to stop the practice of abortion.This is only 1% of the things that we can or could try to do. Some of us may do these things or will do these things. Some of us may succeed and some may fail, but this is why life is so awesome. We are given the power to do what we want to do, to be who we want to be even through insult and criticism. So today do something great or do something evil, be board or be entertain, go to work or quite your job. It is your freedom to do what you want to do. Not including some countries, and this freedom of life will end at death which will be unbeknownst to you and where you go from there is based on whom you served and the chocies that you've made here on earth including your belief, your religion, and not so much your good deeds. So if one of us is in heaven (hopefully myself) and the other is somewhere else, be sure to know that I will be blogging on how I am so glad that I made it to where I made it.
