The only thing i see evolving is our own creations.

Im am almost always in the middle of something. This time i find my encephalon fighting on two sides of evolution. The question i am pondering is whether evolution is true or false. Although there is significant evidence implying evolution to be true i do not think there is enough to prove this theory and although there is evidence against evolution, once again not enough to disprove the theory.

If evolution was true and the fish turned to frogs, maybe frogs turned to birds, and it went on, why did it stop all of a sudden? Why dont we see things evolve today? I understand the process would take longer then a few years, but why do we not see something in the process of evolution at all?

Maybe some would say apes show a process of evolution to humans. So does that mean that one day apes had human babies? Why is there nothing between the evolution of apes and humans?

There are alot of things the work toward evolution. There have been many skeletons and fossils found showing something similar to evolution, From Homo-Habilis to us Homo-Sapians.

The one thing i cannot get out of my head that fights against evolution is, why its not happening today or at least visable in some kind of way. Maybe im not looking in the right places to find what i need to see. The only thing i see evolving is our on creations.

Look at bacteria... they double in population every half hour, so you can actually see many many generations within your lifetime. Try this: http://www.genetics.org/cgi/content/abstract/116/3/349

We don't really see evolution among humans because there is no natural drive. We have adapted our enviornment to us.
Humans and monkeys have a common ancestor. they didn't evolve into us. They probably won't evolve into humans because it has no benifit to them in their enviornment.

It didn't.

We do.

If someone said that, you could rest assured that they didn't know the first thing about the Theory of Evolution.

No, it doesn't mean that at all.

Simple. Modern apes and modern humans share a common ancestor that was neither a modern ape nor a modern human. Apes and humans are different evolutionary paths that lead away from this common ancestor.

Actually, evolution is happening in a visible fashion. Despite what some creationists will tell you, there are numerous examples in the scientific literature of scientists observing evolutionary events both in the lab and in the wild. And, don't let the creationists fool you with the all-too-common rebuttal that only microevolution can be observed. Speciation (which is an example of a macroevolutionary event) can and has been directly observed as well, again both in the lab and in the wild.

You're not. Here is a fully sourced and cited article that gives an overview of more than a score of observed instances of speciation.
