Ok so this years election is one that ccould go down in history. Either as us having the FIRST black President or FIRST woman President. Then again it could just be a fluke in which McCain will win in the end and nothing will have changed.
So how many of us actually vote? We all have this voice that we don't use to our advantage. It is one that goes unheard because many of us keep telling ourselves that "I will send in that form today for sure" but at the end of the day we find ourselves saying "ok i will do it tomorrow for sure." I know this because I am one of those very people that does just that. I know there are many of us out there that may do the same. But election dates will pass and we will still have not turned in that voters registration card yet again. Then we find ourselves complaining about the people in office and the laws that are being made. The irony in that is that we could have helped decide on the same laws that we despise. The reason people like McCain are voted for anyways are because although many of those in this generation find Hillary or Obama more appealing we don't vote. Therefore, those that belong to the last generation and those before them the older persay generations are choosing the leaders for us. They vote so we have to follow there rules yet again.
Its like being a minor living with your parents and having to follow there rules all overs again except this time we could have had a saying in those very laws that are our life rules. There are plenty of teenagers out there that could name plenty of rules there parents had and they hated or disliked or school rules that just didn't make sense. Well now your an adult and now you have to live by other peoples laws and rules that many of us find useless or just plain wrong. So I want to ask how many of you find yourselves in my sitution? What are you going to do to change it if anything?
