Every morning, as the day begins in school, I go to my friends and talk to them about my favorite things. Which mainly tends to be the Japanese culture. I show them a picture of who I idol and what they always end up saying is "Ew, gross, he is Japanese." as if it is truely a problem. Ive grown to realize that people will not like what they are not used to and other cultures tend to be in that growing fact. People do not like what they do not know and if they do not like it they will not want to know it. So in general isn't that just saying that you refuse to know it but you hate it because you do not understand? It's things like this that pulls a nation down. Stereotype and Racism is a growing factor with this little fact in life. People are racist or stereotypical because they do not understand others points of views and since they obviously do not like it, they will not want to understand it so it's truely a false reality. If a nation truely wishes to grow then they would have to end the stereotypes and racism but its in a humans natural workings. That's what they natually know and always will and that is unchangeable.
The true understanding of mankind

Thats the folly of humankind. We fear the unknown, and try to make sense of it with the knowledge that we already have. Thats why we have religion (in my opinion) which takes what we don't know, and puts god behind it so we don't have to worry about it. I try to travel and experience as many cultures as i can so i can decide what i like based on fact, and not opinion.
this thinking has led to our race being unable to create the perfect society. Once we get this fear of the unknown out of our head, and turn it into a want to make the unknown truely known, we will be golden
