Some may ask you what the library does for you. The library does so much for you. They offer programs, both reading programs and entertaining programs. At the library I work at we have many programs each week for all ages groups. We recently started a game night, which happens once a month, that gets teens and other age groups more interested in the library and what it has to offer. We also have entertainers come to perform. We provide crafts to do with every story time. We have a Teen Advisory Group, where the teens come in and tell you what they would most like to see at the library. They tells us what books, music, and other stuff, they think we need. We have much more then just that.
We also offer resources to help you with all of your needs. If you need help finding a book or anything else we are there to help you. We offer assistance to everyone that needs it. The other day we had a patron come in who didn't know much about computers and who needed help filling out an application. I sat down with him and helped him..even though I had a lot to do.. I sat there for an hour or longer helping him. We are there for you when you need help no matter what.
If you need help on an English paper, science fair project, or if you need to know how much a penny weighs, we will help you find that information. We enjoy helping you out. In so many ways the library is useful and helps you with your every need. We provide you with all the knowledge you can take in. That is what a library provides you with.. we provide you with even more than that.
