Creativity
As we grow older, we lose our creativity. We hesitate when writing, drawing, or doing something because of all the rules, laws and restrictions set upon us. We're so intimidated by a blank canvas or paper that we can't create pieces our teachers ask us to. Creativity is knowing how to use what you know, what you've experienced, what you feel and the stuff around you to produce something. But somehow we lose it as we grow. Whether creativity is useful to our society or not, I don't know. I think it is important because it helps in the problem solving process. Sometimes we need to think differently to come to a conclusion or get something new. How do you become "creative"? Well, one useful thing to do is to spend 15 minutes of your day writing, reading, drawing, painting, playing an instrument or something expressive.
Lack in Leadership
Look at how many of us tremble with fear and nervousness preparing for a class speech. It's only a speech, whats there to fear?! How weak are we that we can't accomplish a task so simple? How would we react if we lived in during times like the Aztecs, Mayans and Inca's? (I forgot which group it was; think Apocalypto) To fight strange things. To be courageous. Their Chiefs were so powerful.
We shouldn't make a big deal of what we have to do, its nothing compared to what our ancestors did; crossing deadly rivers, fighting wars, running from war...
