Recessision

The United States is now in a recession, something like the Great Depression only not as bad. Why? The United States use to be one of the richest countries in the world. Our money use to be worth more than other countries. Now our money is equal to Canandian money. It's getting bad. The cost of gas us almost $4.00 a gallon, the cost of food has began to rise, and jobs are scarce. Just think about it. For years our country has been in debt. We own millions of dollars to other countries. How is it that we have money for the lottery to give away but can't pay off our countries war debts. I feel as if we should get our priorities straight first before we just go off and blow money on unnecceassary things. Of course it would be nice to win the lottery but i rather my country be financially stable first. How about Michigan. Michigan has the highest rate of unemployment in the country. Such as the major of Detroit. He spends so much money on parties and other functions instead of paying off the city of Detroit debts. Our mayors and presidents don't care for their cities or their country. They only care for themselves. They know that for as long as they're in office they're going to get paid.
