I think it is time we learned the definition of “racist.”
A lot on this site, especially in the past week or so-the word “racist” seems to keep coming up. 9 times out of 10 though, it is used about something that has absolutely nothing to do with racism. So let’s get a few things straight.
Amish are not a race. It is a religion.
Women are not a race. They are a gender.
Black IS a race, HOWEVER, wanting equal treatment for both blacks and whites is NOT “racist.”
If you are a religion, and someone doesn’t like it-they are not RACIST to you. They are in disagreement, they are against it or you and it is not RACISM.
I wrote a blog about how A.D.D. does not exist, and the Amish were brought up. Someone claimed I was racist against the Amish (I think that was it), however, anyone who knows anything knows that Amish are not a race, they are a religion.
Female are not a race. I am not a female race. I am a female gender. If you don’t like me because I am a female, you are sexist. Not racist.
Now come on people, use your brains and learn the definition of the word. Don’t throw it at people when you don’t know the real definition of it.

AMEN!!!!!!!!!
:D woo!
I couldn't have said what you said better, yay, I agree! But your post's title it says, "You're a Racist! No Matter Who You Are!!" That wasn't addressed in the post. I don't feel as though I am a racist. I like to think that I am tollerant and loving of all races. It seems like we are all a race, is what you talked about.
haha--it was sarcasm. It was mocking other people saying that we are all racists because of things we said :p
Everyone's a racist, enough said
It is impossible no to be one, it's human nature.

The racist lable has been abused to the point where it is meaningless. I like it that way because for far to long the PC crowd, lacking a real argument, has played the race card to silence debate on any topic where they were losing the argument. I think it is getting to the point were people aren't buying it anymore.
I engage in the illegal immigration debate a lot. And despite the fact that I am half hispanic and carefully avoid saying anything hateful (because I don't feel that way), I have been called racist more times than I can count. All I want is the laws enforced in a color blind manner. My issue is population numbers, not population ethnicity. The problem for people who debate me is that there are very few rational arguments that can be made to justify illegal immigration. Eventually they resort to name calling rather than concede that their position is indefensible.
(Incidently, with respect to your blog above, I would add that Hispanic is not a race. It is an ethnicity. People who don't like Hispanics are not racists, they are perhaps xenophobes.)
A good example of the ridiculousness of the overuse of the racist lable is what recently happened to Geraldine Ferraro. She gave voice to an ovbious truth about Obama's race and its role in his current success and got labled a racist for saying something that is patently true. How many people think she is a racist? I think most people think that the use of that lable to smear her is absurd.
