Have you ever been put on hold? I had to call my cell phone provider because they are denying me a rebate that i am perfectly qualified for. Anyways, I was on hold for over 30 minutes and the entire call lasted about an hour. I quickly realized that I was going to be late for school. After school I rushed home to take a quick shower and a bite to eat and then off to work I went. On the way home from work I called my mom who lives 2 hours away to deal with a "tiff" I had with my mom's boyfriend's daughter. Once home my boyfriend was playing x-box when there was a weekends worth of dirty dishes in the sink and the last time either of us had eaten was hours ago. We are so busy with our lives that we dont have the time to stop to hold. Many of us work, go to school, have a significant other, a family (and if like mine is damn near a fully time job alone), friends, and even children. In my marketing class today i was leaving when a middle aged woman was telling the teacher how tired she was because her kid was up all night sick. I thought to myself how does she do it???? I can barely take care of myself, I have no idea how I would handle a child on top of that. I just want to stop and recognize all the hard working people out there and the parents that are also students and have a job. You are doing an amazing thing. Keep up the good work :)
