You never realize how much you want to be like your big sis until you she her in action.....
man, I missed having her around. easy to talk to, easy to fight with, and must importantly can tell me about things no one else can.
For example told me how men work in the game playing thing with girl's minds, brilliant help right there.
Anyways, having someone love you uncondictionally is AMAZING. I can get in a fight with her and in the next 10 minutes she is crawling into my bed and asking me to fix her something to eat.
Tonight I went shopping with her and picked out the PERFECT sunglasses for her in 10 minutes. Also I picked out this watch for her amazing boyfriend (question how does she pick such brilliant men to be in her life???) in 20 minutes, come on I just met the boy -lol.But ever since all my older sisters moved away I felt something missing in me. And I have found it lately. It is the unconditional love you get from family.
But it is not just that one big sister it is all of my older sisters. Seeing one reminds me of all of them. I have watched them grow up, no matter what they think, and have learned from them. From each of my sisters I take aspects of their lives into mine. From my oldest sister I take her easiness arond people and calming prescense. From my second oldest sister I take her thirst for knowledge and her undefetalle strength in the face of peer views. My third oldest sister I soak in her determination in her goals and the power of her words. Finally my fourth oldest sister I learn how to live my life to the fullest and gain experience from my mistakes.
Not only do I learn from their positive actions and persona but also the mistakes they made/make. I may make the same mistake but I learn, from their wisdom.
My family is my support, and I sem to forget this in times of peril. I act like I am alone in a dark room when really I have 4 bright lights there to support me in any way possible. I hope that I am living up to their expectations of me, because they far exceed mine ALL THE TIME.
I have many real - life role models/heros in my life and tonight they have joined my list. I look up to the shining beautiful women in my life and strive to be them, every second of every day. I would never want to stray from the yellow bricked road they have traveled and made for me. The crazy fact is I cannot wait to live a life even close to theirs.
A warning to all big brothers and sisters: Your younger siblings are watching you no matter their age (I mean I am 18). SO please be careful how you present yourself b/c they want to grow up to be YOU.
