Why Women Shouldn't Have Rights

For weeks, revolts engulfed the city of Paris. A malcontent Muslim minority was rebelling against a government which had so utterly failed in assimilating them. The French imported Muslims en mass, hoping to infuse workers into their dwindling population. Due to this policy, Muslims now make up 10% of Frances citizenry. And France isnt the only European nation hoping to offset their population decline. Europe is rapidly becoming depopulated, and many European nations hope to solve this crisis by bringing in Muslim workers from North Africa. But this solution has proved to create more harm than good. It merely gives these countries the illusion that they have stabilized their population, when all it has done is create an ever more vocal and violent minority. There is a much simpler way to solve such a serious issue. All we need to do is take away women's rights.

Many people have believed that the worlds population is spiraling upward. This belief is based on UN reports from the 1960s which stated that the world was becoming dangerously overpopulated. New research contradicts this age old belief, indicating that the worlds population will peak at 7.8 billion in 2040 and then continue on a steady decline. Due to these new findings, the UN was forced to revise its population projections downward in 2003. World depopulation in the modern era is a fact, and a major decrease in the developed worlds population could lead to a new Great Depression. Without the workers to support its consumer base, these developed countries would send the world into an economic down spin, leading us into one of the most terrible economic disasters in human history. With smaller populations, each individual will have more money in their possession, causing an inflationary trend that hasnt been seen since the Great Depression. In this modern world, every nation on earth is tied together economically, and without the buying power or support of the developed world, the rest of humanity would be driven into despair and poverty. Totalitarian regimes have a tendency to rise from the smoldering ruin of poverty, and a world depression, just as during the Great Depression, could lead to a new age of despotic regimes.

Another major consideration is the collapse of the welfare state. Medicare, social security, and welfare were created as a safety net in which the people of a nation could help support the oldest or poorest among them. Yet if these practices continue in an age in which the birthrate is on a decline, it could lead to the welfare states total bankruptcy. Italy currently spends one-third of government spending on its elderlys pension plan. Yet because of such low birthrates, and due to an increase in the number of elderly in Italy, this number will rise to 60% by 2050 . By 2050 Italians over the age of 60 years will increase from 25% to nearly 50% of the population. The modern welfare state cannot afford to support 50% of the population. These programs were created with the assumption that a countrys population would continue to grow exponentially, and was founded during the baby boomer years, in which there was no shortage of workers. Yet with the decreasing birthrate along with the now elderly baby boomers retiring, these programs are doomed to collapse. And when the Italian government attempted to raise the retirement age in a desperate attempt to save the welfare state, they were met with fierce strikes which paralyzed the nation for a day.

Now, you may be wondering how taking away women's rights will help stop such a drastic decrease in population and prevent the destruction of western culture. In the early 20th century, women were given the right to vote all across the western world. And as the century came to a close, women had more rights than ever before. Women are going to college and graduate school in such large numbers that they are even beginning to overcome men. Because women are entering professional careers and are waiting longer to marry, they are having fewer children. Having a child means that a woman must take several months off to give birth and care for her newborn. Many women wait until its too late, choosing to focus on their careers rather than on building a family. European governments have tried to increase family sizes by introducing incentives, such as tax breaks, yet the majority of these have proved unsuccessful.

Extreme times call for extreme measures, and, if only for a time, we must take a dramtic stand to quickly raise the birthrate of the Wesern world. And so I am proposing the creating of impregnation squads, made up of able bodied, motivated, and patriotic young men. The Storks as they will be called, will search the streets for any woman who has not been blessed with the gift of a child, and, if found, will help the woman to fufill her true calling. Also, any woman who is so deficient as to not have given birth by her thirtieth birthday will be brought to the Storks and consequently impregnated, by as many or as few Storkes are deemed neccessary. All women who give birth to these children will be compensated for their cooperation through a small tax rebate. This will also help reduce any form of sexual assault in our Utpian world, as young men will be given a chance to relieve their sexual desires in a safe manner, and will also be helping the state by doing so.

We must stop educating women, making it so that they must marry early to survive, allowing their multiple offspring a father. And by taking away women's right to vote, we will make it so that these necessary changes will be permanent. During a time in which women had no rights, Europe went through the Renaissance, the period of Enlightenment, and the Industrial Revolution. And during this time its population rose handsomely. By forcing women to become dependent upon their husbands once again, they will be forced to marry early, resulting in more offspring being born. With a population surge, Europe and the United States will enter a new golden age, carrying the rest of the world with them.

well then I wonder what's going to be made?
Yes! It's Finished!"

And that was a huge waste of my time.

Satire - a literary composition, in verse or prose, in which human folly and vice are held up to scorn, derision, or ridicule.

Read Johnathon Swift's "A Modest Proposal", that's where this blogger got his idea.

the point is to elucidate a reasonable truth through a highly irrational (yet seemingly reasonable in context) proposition.

I am so glad this what a sick joke, but seriously, that was the biggest waste of blogging space ever. You presented random "issues" that were very detached and recommended in the end for America to go into the Dark Ages Pt.2 so our overpopulated world can become even more over populated (despite a slight lag).

I know it is suppose to be funny, but wow, it took a long to get to that point and I think you missed. From Muslims to depopulation to welfare states....I think taurus has the right idea...

Please Explain.

Think about it...

...theyre all interconnected lol

the cultural friction going on in europe in many areas is due to an increasing muslim population. they are coming to europe because its being depopulated and europeans need other people to fill their jobs

the welfare state is collapsing because theres not a population base to support it anymore

and overpopulation isnt the problem. as i pointed out. we arent becoming overpopulated, we are depopulating

In developed countries, yes. Not so much in developing countries. Like... 1/3 of the population of the world in two countries.

thats true. but if our population is dropping, whose going to buy what people in developing nations produce? japan and korea and hong kong and taiwan and now china would never have gotten to where they are today if it wasnt for a large western population to buy their products. on top of that, then you would see large, unskilled populations moving from the third to the first world to fill in the population vacuum. This would then lead to nationalism, nativism, ethnic conflict, yada yada yada. it is in everones best interest for our population to continue to rise rather than collapse

this reminds me of South Park : )
(which many people don't seem to realize is half the time actually very intelligent)
Sometimes the only way for people to see their irrationality is to elaborate and take it to as far as it would go if there weren't rational people preventing it. Awesome!

The cultural friction you refer to can better be seen as cultural unbalance.

The reason why Muslims were “invited” to come and work in European countries took place for other reasons than those you have mentioned.

This took place in the seventies, a time in which the whole of Europe was dwelling in economical welt, because of that hardly any European was willing to do the “dirty jobs” any longer. In order to find people willing to work in dirty industries and other instances which were not the most healthy jobs around governments promoted job vacancies in the rural areas of some Islamic countries.

France did so in Algeria, while most of other countries did so mainly in Morocco.

These working guests which were brought in did not enjoy any form of education previous to their entry in European countries, they did not speak local languages and found themselves to be pushed all together in the poorest of all neighborhoods which were to be found during those days.

The effects of friction became to surface when cultures started to collide with one another. Having had a taste of easy money while enjoying all of the same social and structural advantages of Europeans, Muslims brought in females in order to provide offspring in masses. For a Muslim wife to reproduce 10 children was a very common reality which also meant they earned amazing amounts of money just by popping out children.

Those kids soon realized they had nothing much to live for being caught between two cultures which don’t really match all that well together. The unwillingness to mingle brought up painful situations which still today are dividing those two religious cultures from one another.

The frustration which comes along with it is set to bring more trouble if political instances don’t assume taking their responsibility of what they have created around the lives of many.

Indeed all these issues are inter-related.

Population is indeed continuing to spiral upwards in the third world. This is directly related to the lack of education and rights that are afforded women in these societies.

Greed is largely driving the mass import of immigrants into Western nations. Even though they are already over-populated, the economies and social systems of these systems are stuctured as ponzi-schemes that require ever increasing population to avoid collapse. There would be nothing wrong with population falling to more sustainable levels otherwise.

Muslim immigration into Europe and excessive Hispanic immigration into the United States are essentially cultural suicide. It is a shame to see the cultures which have been the source of almost everything good in the world economically and politically self-destructing for the sake of greed.

After reading the satire, I can tell that you are firmly on the correct side of women's rights. It is less clear to me where you stand on the population issue. But I am not concerned though because where women are given education and decent rights, population and birth rates are far more likely to adjust to sustainable harmonious levels.
