my parents are always telling me what i can't do. i can't get into college (I'm in both i applied to and pending a response from a third.) i can't get a job. (with all the apps. I've put in I've gotta get one.) i won't get any financial aid (one of the colleges offered 5,000 just to attend). i know that every time they tell me i can't or won't i try harder, but geez. thanks for the encouragement. I'm gonna ask them if i can win the McDonalds monopoly game. i'll be set for life. Is motivation stronger if you have encouragement or a desire to prove someone wrong?
