There are many double standards that favor men, such as bigger pay for doing the same job, and him being a player if he sleeps around alot, and a girl being a slut.
And rap music, previously hair metal, had shown it off, and yet the girls love it. I personally don't like most rap, love the metal, but still, if it does this, why do you support it??

Gene Simmons of the rock band KISS, asks that men fully think about marriage instead of leaping into the dark. What one person does is up to them but he urges people to really understand the financial ramifications of what they are getting into.

In this posting, Gene touches upon some double standards and hypocrisy men face in today’s world with women. Now onto some words of wisdom as spoken by Gene Simmons:
If you put a woman on a pedestal and try to protect her from the rat race you’re a male chauvinist pig.

If you work too hard, there never is time for her. If you don’t work enough, you’re a good for nothing bum.

If you like a woman to shave her legs and keep in shape, you’re sexist. If you don’t you’re unromantic.

If you buy her flowers, you’re after something. If you don’t, you’re not thoughtful.

1. Why is it that when I'M 18, I have to fill out the selective service card to be drafted and women don't?
I have fibromyalgia, which is far worse than laziness. It's arthritis in your muscles with a whole slew of horrible side effects, and no cure. its whats kept me from doing sports since 7th grade. But guess what? I might get drafted into anywhere in the army, but if a girl who does all these sports and can bench twice of what I can doesn't, isn't that unfair?

Whats wrong with women being in the service like me? Nothing. I would be doing paperwork and computer crap, or non-front line duty; what's wrong with women doing that?
Nothing. Feminists and and some librals will petition for equal rights as long as it BENEFITS THEM. Not for TOTAL EQUAL TREATMENT. Hypocrites, I hate this.
2. Why are there all these emails circulating about how a guy should treat a girl?
You chose to date a pig. Deal with it. I'm a nice guy, but do i get a girlfriend whenever? no. girls don't want nice guys, they want dirtbags to treat them bad, and try to make them "good" to their standards. I'm not looking for a girlfriend by writing this; I'm saying, "good job idiot". You apparently got what you wanted. Stop lying and live with it.
Why do other guys have to live up to their standards to begin with? I'm a romantic, I'm a gentlemen. I don't see emails going around about what guys want girls to do for them. And knowing alot of guys, it would begin and end with kinky sex.

Lie. This one translates to "I have no intention of calling you or hanging out with you, but I'm too much of a coward to tell you the truth, so I'll lead you on for a couple of weeks while you put your life on hold for me in case I actually stop being the indecisive whore that I am and I give you a straight answer." Like I don't have anything better to do than to sit around and wait for you to call me.
This has happened soo many times, that the word "so" would have to have at least thirty o's. That quote was also from maddox, It's true, and here's a tip: If you give me your number, msn, e-mail address, whatever, answer the phone/pm/message and make time to hang out. If not, just don't lie to my face.
4. Pretty girls have it harder than any others
They not only are made fun of, they have to keep the looks, the charm, and are constantly pressured into sex and all sorts of bad things. They are expected to be pretty, and are always put up on a pedestal, and treated so well, but yet trash talked and treated so horribly in return!
I've seen it happen. I'm good friends with girls who end up like that. It's natural.
My rant is over. I'm not a chauvinist, I love girls; alot. But sometimes, things can get depressing. I don't like all the crap women have to go through either, and I'd hate to have to go through menopause, random cramps, pregnancy, periods, guys treating you like a sex object, etc.
